On Mural Unveiling Day, October 23, 1999, the entire 15’x60’ “Desert Wildlife” Mural wall was wrapped in a big red bow! A cutting ceremony was performed by Mayor Liz Meyer, representatives of
Action Council for 29 Palms, Inc., and the artist, Chuck Caplinger (seen above officially signing the Mural wall). Mural location: The Treasure Chest building, 72252 29 Palms Hwy., 29 Palms, California.
