In 2006-2007, Chuck Caplinger revived his series of celebrity oils from the 1980s, “Hollywood Faces,” with new paintings created for a showing at M Hale Gallery (formerly Heusso Gallery) in Palm Springs. Also on display was his famous “Tribute to Marilyn” mural , which is pictured in miniature above and is described more fully on the Hollywood Entertainment Museum exhibit page.
